Description:
2days, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Intermediate to Advanced Students preferably with some previous plein air experience, Limited to maximum 10 students.

For the first time, Brett will be offering instruction in how he approaches studio painting. The workshop will focus on taking your plein air studies to studio paintings as well as interpreting photos as a tool or reference for your studio work. Students will also work on enhancing and developing compositions to improve upon your reference material. As part of the teaching process Brett will demo a large painting working from a limited palette. The first day will include preliminary work and starting the painting.  The second day will focus on reevaluating the painting and bring it near completion. Students are encouraged to paint along with the process. Individual instruction and critique will be offered between painting sessions.  This will be a very intensive workshop. Come prepared to work.
