After meeting her family, who happened to also be Redsox fans, on the plane on the way over, this sweet lady was kind enough to let me crash at her house since I was arriving a day earlier than I was expected...Such a great welcome after just arriving in a another country...complete with homemade Italian dinner with the family...Wow!
These photos are the view from the window and balcony of the Monestary in Barga in the Apuane Mountains.
view from the Church at the top of the hill in Barga.
Two of the artist on the trip from the Washington Plein Air Painters, Sara and Ed, painting from the Church.
Me painting view from the Church.
Vernazza in Cinque Terra..Such an incredible place…
This is taken of the Ufizzi tower in Florence from where I was standing in Santa Croce Square about to start a painting...Michelangelo and Galileo are both burried in the Church there just behind me.
My three lovely tour guides in Florence...you’ll also notice the Ponte Vecchio Bridge in the distance.
The Duomo...Florence
5 pics San Ginignano in Central Tuscany...The middle one was from my hotel balcony. Talk about a room with a view.
